My First Upload to IMSLP

Benefits of playing an instrument whose popularity is declining? If you have connections to a local organ society, such as the RCCO, you’ll likely meet people with large collections of sheet music. Some of them can no longer keep all those books, and are happy to give them to some young person who will use them. It’s an excellent opportunity for an eager young musician to easily acquire a lot of free or nearly free sheet music.
Another benefit? The major composers lived and died centuries ago and almost every important piece of organ music is in the public domain. Many of them, especially the works of the top organ composer, J.S. Bach are carefully indexed with scores available on the Petrucci Music Library.
However, not all of the public domain music that exists is available online. And I own copies of some of it. So I tried making my own scans and uploads.
My first one is Choral-Paraphrase on Psalm 90 by Alexandre Celier. It’s 20th century organ music. Not everyone likes it. Maybe it’s an acquired taste.
